We stayed at Chabad Midtown on New Year's Eve (Rosh Hashana) for a holiday dinner. The hospitality is excellent, but a small problem arose, when registering for the holiday dinner, we mentioned that one of us is a vegetarian, but to our surprise, despite the high price, there was no vegetarian protein portion for the vegetarian diner, nor was there a substitute for the starter dish (salmon fish was served), disappointed us that despite the high price that had to be paid, there was no adequate vegetarian response. Of course, there is nothing to say about the atmosphere which was exceptional and the Rabbi and his wife are incredibly nice people and we were happy to celebrate Rosh Hashanah with them.

This holy place is one of the biggest "Zikkui Ha'rabim" in New York City! Hundreds of business men stop in the middle of their day to daven Mincha/Maariv and learn here. Clean, well kept and friendly. Thank you Chabad!

Called for help a single mother with two kids and a dog flew in from Israel had a place to stay in West Virginia. Don’t mind a organization saying they can’t help but they just responded with maybe she should just take a taxi. Do you know how much a taxi cost from Manhattan to West Virginia? Probably all the money that the lady brought with her. Then asked for other resources whoever picked up the phone was rude and lazy

Not only a great synagogue located in the heart of the tourist area of NYC, but also one of the best places in town to celebrate the Shabbat and Jewish holidays with your family. You can check the availability and make reservations in their website in advance.

an orthodox synagogue run by Chabad In Midtown. Shabbat services are good. The cantors try to mix Ashkenazi and Sephardic tunes in order to make all feel at home. there is an option to buy Shabbat meals and eat them with a Shabbat atmosphere at the shul. need to signup online in advance. A small Kiddush is made after the Shabbat morning service. NYPD officers at location for additional protection. may God bless them. The 'community' is not overbearing, and will not invade your privacy as a guest if you don't ask for it.

Warm and friendly! A second home in midtown! Source for everything Jewish! From CHANUKAH lighting's, Passover seders, Shabbat dinner and lunch . Regular schedule of prayer services. Can't say enough about this Chabad. Great for tourists traveling to Manhattan as well as business men looking for a minyan. Purim is the best as this Chabad has hourly megillah readings throughout the day of Purim so no excuse not to hear the megillah reading!

Nice people, good paced minyan - not fast and not slow, wonderful library with lots of seforim. What else can one dream of in the middle of Manhattan except having time and ability to learn?
